This fall the Social & Economic Sciences Research Center of Washington State University completed a study on the Washington State GEAR UP classes of 2000 - 2003. The Washington State GEAR UP Scholars Project tracks data for our Annual Performance Report through a series of Site and Student Quarterly Reports. Download these reports and instructions for filling them out below. 

The GET Program is Washington's 529 prepaid college tuition plan. You prepay for your child's future college tuition and have peace of mind knowing that the value of your account is guaranteed by the state to keep pace with rising college tuition.  

The College Bound Scholarship is a program for low-income youth. If your family qualifies your child could receive college tuition for up to four years! After your child applies, he/she needs to do well in middle and high school, graduate from high school, and stay out of trouble. The scholarship may be used at a community college, a vocational-technical college, or a 4 year college or university. Washington State GEAR UP Administrator's Manual now available online! The Washington State GEAR UP Program has created a number of forms, policies, and worksheets to help GEAR UP grant administrators and site directors track, complete, and submit the data required to run a successful program. If you're from a GEAR UP program in another state, please feel free to use our Administrator's Manual as a template to customize your program's materials.  

This report advocates for a K-12 education system that prepares all students for college and the world of work.
