Join this session to hear about how campus visits are taking place in a virtual environment. We will share best practices from both GEAR UP Washington and FOCUS Training on implementation and the delivery of engaging experiences for students. As part of the program, participants can expect to receive sample activities, curriculum and to connect with others in sharing best practices.

Lewis and Clark High School Students Robotics Project Unveiled

Lewis and Clark High School Class of 2017 students Sydney Spacek and Brianna Desormier worked with the grant writer Chris Davis to build their robot.  The students, during the busy build season designed, contructed, and programed their FRC Robot which they intend to enter into upcoming state competitions.  

GEAR UP and WSAC Staff Meet Senator Patty Murray

U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) was presented the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships’ (NCCEP) Champions for Student Success Award in a ceremony on the University of Washington (UW) campus, Aug. 6.
